The check valves that we sell on CPAPfix.com all have either an arrow marking or a label that indicates the connection direction. The arrow points towards the direction of your CPAP machine.

SoClean Device ---> Check Valve --> CPAP

This arrow indicator is found on both check valves and they point the same direction. For example, you will connect your injection hose from the SoClean 2 machine into the check valve and the arrow will point to the 12" injection hose that connects to the ResMed humidifier chamber.

If you have another type of device, the arrow points towards the direction of the CPAP. The air from your SoClean machine will travel from the machine towards and through the check valve to the CPAP.

In order to ensure that your machine is properly sanitized, replace the cartridge filter and check valve at least every 6 months. For directions on how to change the SoClean filter, you can check out other blog posts.
